IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO PLACING YOUR ORDER:

1. HOW TO CHOOSE BETWEEN OUR TWO TYPES OF SHIRTS:

SIR Men’s Wear shirts are available in only two types of cut: REGULAR Cut & TAPERED Cut.
The choice between both cuts can based on three criteria:

Comfort: how much fabric is needed to be comfortable at the waist.
Usage: whether you intend to wear this shirt mostly inside or outside your pants.
Simply style preference.

2. HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR EUROPEAN SHIRT SIZE:

Using a “soft” measuring tape, wrap the tape all the way around your neck until it meets its starting point.
The tape must be slightly loose around your neck in a way that allows it to move up and down.
Do not wrap the tape too close around your neck, as your shirt might give you an uncomfortable feeling of tightness.

Use this chart as a general guide for finding the right size shirt for you based on your neck size.

REGULAR shirts (side seam is running straight down below the sleeve):
REGULAR shirts can be easily identified by their ROUND buttons.
REGULAR shirts are only available in European sizes 2 to 6.

FITTED or TAPERED shirts cut (side seam is tapered in slightly to provide a slimmer fit at the waistline): TAPERED shirts can be easily identified as they have SQUARE BUTTONS. TAPERED shirts are only available in European sizes 2 to 5.

The approximate U.S. equivalent of our shirt size has been indicated, however we strongly recommend checking your neck size prior to ordering one of our products. Sleeve length has been indicated for further reference if your neck size seems to fall in between two sizes.

3. IMPORTANT CARE & CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

SIR Men’s Wear shirts are all made of 100% cotton and do not significantly shrink during cleaning.
In order to ensure a long life to our high-quality products, we highly recommend the following:

DO NOT dry-clean your shirts. Dry-cleaning greatly reduces the durability of the buttons.
DO NOT put them in a heated dryer. Heat damages the lining inside the collar and the cuffs by loosening the glue used in the manufacturing process.

PREFERRED METHOD FOR CLEANING YOUR SHIRTS:

USE the cold water, gentle cycle in your washing machine, with gentle/slow spin-dry setting.
USE a plastic hanger (not metal) to hang your shirt dry.
IRON on medium heat only.
STARCH is not recommended.
